The Ridge Cycle Hub

The Ridge Cycle Hub is of North Carolina's newest bike parks. It opened in 2021 and now boasts 4 and a half miles of well designed, tree covered trails with plans to expand soon. The hard work to build this mountain bike playground was done by a group of dedicated volunteers from the "Roadies and Dirties" Cycling club". It was made possible because of the vision of the members of TRIP, The Tourism Recreation Investment Partnership for Davidson County Foundation. Development of this trail system has been done using the guidelines for sustainable trail development. The club takes great pride in keeping them maintained.

A gravel parking area complete with porta-jons can handle dozens of cars and  is located at 1441 Ridge Road,  just outside of Lexington. It was built to accommodate not only mountain bikers but road riders who come from all over the area take advantage of the miles of rural roads, light traffic and beautiful countryside.

If you are looking for a fun and unique place to ride you're mountain bike then you're at the right place.  Built by mountain bikers for mountain bikers, this well designed trail takes advantage of the area's natural features and offers a nice flow with berms, bridges, drops and climbs all under a shady forest canopy. The four and a half miles of trail (more to come) winds it's way through the trees and along the banks of City Lake. Be sure to keep checking back here as they continue to add more to the trails and we add more to this page.
